The Mt. Oliver Fire Dept. participates in as much training as possible. We train at the Allegheny County Fire Academy, with Community College of Allegheny County, and at other county fire academies and the PA State Fire Academy in Lewistown. A new firefighter joining our organization has to complete 166 hours of initial training at the County Fire Academy, plus attend our weekly drills.
