The Mount Oliver Hook & Ladder Company is the primary fire department for the Mount Oliver Borough. The Mount Oliver Hook & Laddeer Company was incorporated in 1869 and we are currently in our 138th year of fire protection for the citizens and visitors of Mount Oliver. The Borough of Mount Oliver is unique, in that we are the only borough in the United States that is completely surrounded by a major metropolitan city.
